Who this course is for
Those who have already attained, or are in the process of attaining – through our partner The Education & Skills Partnership – their green CSCS card and are looking to progress into groundworks and plant operation.

This comprehensive course includes 62 hours of training, beginning with five days of classroom learning, covering essential topics such as:
- Mental Health Awareness
- Principles of Civil Engineering
- Asbestos Awareness
- Risk Avoidance
- Concrete Placing, Compacting, and Finishing
- Drainage and Storm Water Management
- Abrasive Wheels and Use of Power Tools
- Detection of Buried Services for Construction
Following the classroom sessions, participants will advance to practical training at a local construction plant training center. Here, they will work towards achieving their NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) dumper license and plant machinery marshal accreditation, including a traffic marshal ticket.
