Our fully funded six-week Bricklaying Diploma combines hands-on trade training with essential construction knowledge, giving eligible learners the opportunity to work towards the NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Bricklaying (Diploma).
From constructing solid and cavity walls to masonry repairs, health and safety, construction drawings and environmental awareness, you’ll develop skills designed to prepare you for your next step in the industry.

About this course
If you’re ready to move beyond an introduction to construction and start developing skills in a specific trade, this programme gives you the opportunity to focus on bricklaying.
You’ll work towards the NOCN Level 2 Extended Technical Occupational Entry for Bricklaying (Diploma), developing the knowledge, practical skills and behaviours associated with working as a bricklayer.Constructing cavity wallsHealth, safety and working on site
The qualification covers both practical bricklaying and the wider knowledge needed to work effectively within the construction industry.
The official NOCN qualification includes areas such as constructing cavity and solid walls, construction health and safety, construction principles, environmental awareness and sustainability, and communication and quantities within construction.

This programme is aimed at adults who want to develop trade-specific construction skills and progress towards work or further training in bricklaying.
Applicants must be:
Aged 19+
Resident in Lincolnshire
Additional funding eligibility will be confirmed as part of the application process.
